Roger Day – Chief Executive Officer

Roger is a Chartered Manager. Thirty years experience and a Certificate in Accounting and a Professional Management Diploma from the Open University Business School combined with Membership of The Chartered Management Institute (MCMI) and Membership of the Institute of Credit Management  (MICM) combine to make Roger one of the most decorated people within Ascent. Designing cost effective funding of exposures, including captive arrangements, and providing insurance to allow secure funding of residential property in the United States are two of his more unusual but no less creative innovations. He continues to read Management Studies in his spare time and also enjoys fishing and playing the guitar.

Peter Carolan – Chief Insurance Mediation Officer

Peter's creative approach has allowed him to develop a series of specialised wordings for his many clients that pushed contemporary boundaries of cover but which are now recognised as standard in today's market. A consummate professional, Ascent's Client Director for Property Accounts has, over 30 years in the business, earned the trust and respect of the many clients and insurers who work with us. Like many of his colleagues, Peter enjoys a round of golf and is also a keen race-goer.

Neil Manwaring – Operations Director

Neil joined Ascent 5 years ago and has been integral to the growth of the business.  With a solid grounding in Property Owners insurance Neil has progressed steadily through the ranks, most recently as Customer Services Manager, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
With his IT development skills, Neil has continually developed the IT solutions for Ascent, this combined with his and Ascents strong ethos of putting the customer first he will ensure that Ascents delivery is top class.  
Prior to Ascent Neil has worked for HSBC Insurance Brokers and Axa.
